About " Rita Gray Mary Bono "

  • Rita Gray Mary Bono

Rita Gray Mary Bono Is a well-known author, some of his books are a fascination for readers like in the Easy Street book, this is one of the most wanted Rita Gray Mary Bono author readers around the world.

  • Would be great for storytime with the rhyming, simple pictures, and instructions. One of Bobo's very favorites: "Roll it, roll it, wheels so fat. Roll it down to make it flat."

  • November 2016 - Ben chose this one, and it reminds me a bit of Roadwork. The perspective in the illustrations is a little funny, but Ben loved seeing each stage of the road, the vehicles, etc. It doesn't name all the equipment, which would be nice to have, but I do like the diversity of the workers (including women).

  • Great book to teach children about the process of paving a new road. This story could also serve to teach young ones about sequencing. Great book for home and the classroom, and I really enjoyed the illustrations. Written to the cadence of "pat-a-cake"

  • The illustrations are a little disturbing in a freaky-Rudolph-Christmas-movie-land-of-make-believe kind of way. But the cadence and rhyming are fabulous. It sort of reminds of Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb. Catherine recites it as we pass all of the construction on the freeway. Bonus points: the illustrations depict both a woman construction worker (albeit a very masculine looking one) AND a construction worker eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

  • Hands down, the best part of this book is the illustrations! Three-dimensional and made with real road-building materials, the adorable characters really make their world come to life. The rhyming words tell the story of how a road is built with the cadence of "Patty Cake, Patty Cake." I know some toddlers who would love this book!

  • 38 months - Sometimes simple is just right for O. The text is simple yet rhyming to describe the process of paving a new street. Something we are very familiar with after having both of our streets replaced this spring (Ack the noise!!! Not good for a kid who is sound sensitive). Great clay figures and vehicles. This would be a fabulous book for a boy obsessed with vehicles.

  • This book is good for children who like to know more Construction and about community helpers. I can also use this book for math counting and also color recognition. This will be useful for kids to understand the concept of sequencing and "what happens next in the story."

  • We still chant the little rhyme, "Roll it, roll it, wheels so fat, roll it down to make it flat!" I think I started reading this to you when you were barely two years old, and you have always loved it.

  • Asher (4yo) sure likes it, but I find it a bit tedious. The story is pretty standard - making a road and the sound effects therein. The illustrations are similiar to those of Bob the Builder. Maybe that's why he likes it so much

  • Both of my sons have LOVED this book around age two. The somewhat repetitive text, the rhyming cadence and the cute clay illustrations all make it a winner. Both would walk around, repeating certain lines - the words are catchy like a song! Really cute.

  • This book is good for students who are interested in building things and construction. It is about building a new road and all the steps included.

  • Good for teaching sequences, steps, and/or stages related to construction. Loved the illustrations and form variation.

  • i love that they're paving the road in easy street. And I like it so much and I wish that when we return it, we could get it again. Get it back.
