  • Never Been to Anphar was pretty good. I liked the immediate suspense and action. Got pulled right in and turning pages. I liked the ending. Perfectly sweet and loving. I would definitely read this short story again, and would keep it on my shelf. A great beginning to a good book. Bridge of Dreams was pretty good too. It was a very happy ending. Short and Sweet. *sigh* Moon Over Miranda was great, I liked the action and suspense, twists and turns. Pulled me in and I kept reading. This one's a kee [...]

  • Ten stars that were the subject of the authors' fantasies were portrayed metaphorically in this anthology. My favorite was Mary Jo Putney's Sean Connery as King Arthur story which was inspired by the movie First Knight. It definitely had some creative elements. One aspect was very surprising but mythologically appropriate. I do admit that if I were writing a Sean Connery story I would want to base it on his portrayal of the older Robin Hood in Robin and Marian. Then there were two stories dealin [...]

  • This is 10 short stories (about 30 pgs each)by various authors! All romance, so if you like that stuff, youll like this one! There's a time travel, a futuristic, Vikings, historical, you name it, its probably here! I probably bought this yrs ago when I liked romance. I no longer do,,,, so it was a bore to me, but I read it anyhow. I figured short stories of only 30 pgs or so each would go far. Some went faster then others, but for the most part, it just dragged on and I couldnt wait to be done w [...]

  • This was given to me by a bookcrosser I met in Georgia. She loved it. I found it a quick read, with the interesting twist that each author picked a favorite actor to model her hero on. Ten stories, 10 heroes. I must admit that my own fantasies of Harrison Ford, Colin Firth or Geroge Clooney were a bit different! My favorite part of each story was the little blurb at the front by each author.

  • I don't remember much about this book. I know that I love several of the authors in this anthology and I remember thinking that some of these stories are just too crazy short. I like a lot more plot development than can be fit into 30-40 pages.
